With American credit and debit card usage steadily rising during the past several years, according to a recent Federal Reserve report, nonprofits such as PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) are increasingly putting their names/logos on credit cards.
Recently, emails offering a PETA Visa® Platinum Rewards Card with a choice of five colorful designs were received by Who's Mailing What!, the world's most complete library of email and direct mail. With this card, PETA receives a one-time $50 donation if a purchase is made with the new account within 90 days of issuance. Also, a percentage of the user's future purchases on the card will support PETA's groundbreaking work for animals.
And if you don't want to apply for a credit card, the PETA email also has a link to message checks and other accessories like address labels. This P.S. reads "... another terrific and easy way to support all our work for animals every time you make a purchase or pay a bill!"
