I Will Wait: Mumford & Sons Reactivate Dormant List
Well, well, well. Look who's back. Chart-topping Brit-folk band Mumford & Sons have been flying under the radar for almost two years, taking time off from touring the world to spend time in solace — as well as work on a new album. While they were gone, their email list was quiet as well. As a fan, I was accustomed to receiving updates from the band as they were on the road, as well as notifications about upcoming shows or other things related to the band.
This past week, I got an unexpected surprise, as the Mumford & Sons email list kicked back into action and notified me of their long-anticipated return. Although really any email from a sender you love could be easily passed off as "effective," this piece does a good job of going above and beyond, for a few reasons.
