The Direct Marketing Association (DMA) has reportedly purchased the DM Days in New York Conference for an undisclosed sum from DMD Conferences LLC, New York. Several reports indicate that the deal is expected to be announced today. DMD was owned by four partners: Chuck Cavanagh, president and CEO; Art Blumenfield, vice chairman and executive vice president; Thomas J. Turner, executive vice president and COO; and Fred Tarter, director. The 38-year-old conference has been on the market for roughly two years.
