Stefania Trinchero, 2016 Marketer of Tomorrow
Every Fall, Target Marketing honors one “Marketer of the Year.” But what about other marketers doing great work in their spaces? Stefania Trinchero is one of the six ascending stars selected as a "Marketer of Tomorrow."
Stefania Trinchero is the customer acquisition and marketing manager for Zinio LLC — “the world’s largest newsstand.” Before coming to Zinio, she worked to re-launch Gioia, a weekly Italian magazine, and generate record levels of revenue in the U.K. market.
“It wasn’t just an idea, but an entire project that my team and I built to refresh the brand image of the magazine, securing a dedicated budget from the U.S. company headquarters,” says Trinchero. “The project included building the new editorial line — together with the editor-in-chief — revamping the graphic layout of the title, and studying the weeklies competition in Italy and abroad to come up with the perfect magazine DNA.”
Mirela Cialai of Zinio nominated Trinchero as a “Marketer of Tomorrow” because of her fundamental role in Zinio’s collaboration with publisher partners.
“Working with a series of teams globally, Stefania has gone on to develop and implement several successful marketing campaigns, which have nearly doubled the revenue for the U.K. market, creating record levels of engagement,” explains Cialai.
“I have always liked to describe myself as 50 percent creative and 50 percent strategic, and I believe that working in marketing helped me develop these skills even more,” notes Trinchero.
