The Joint’s Postcard Promises Pain Relief
To reach an audience that wants to feel better, sometimes a simple direct mail postcard will do nicely.
Mailer Name: The Joint
Date Mailed: October 2015-February 2016
The headline on this 5”x8-1/2” postcard is enough to grab the attention of anyone who has suffered from pain. “WHAT LIFE DOES TO YOUR BODY, WE UNDO,” it claims. The photo of the runner stretching before a beach run on the right offers some reassurance with copy that runs down her back. “Your spine isn’t just the center of your back. It’s the center of your getting back.”
The concise offer stands out the top: “$19 INITIAL VISIT.” In smaller type, it explains what services that price includes, without going into any specifics. Mousetype at the bottom provides even more terms.
The offer repeats at the top of the address side of the postcard. It then provides addresses for two nearby locations, as well as phone numbers and business hours. At bottom, three short phrases describe three benefits that also show it can be flexible in meeting customers’ needs.
You don’t need to put a lot of copy on a postcard to drive traffic to a brick-and-mortar store or service location.
