New Arrival: Channel Intelligence, Bazaarvoice Partner to Strengthen Online Social Media Applications
Channel Intelligence an e-commerce solutions provider, and Bazaarvoice, which offers hosted social commerce applications, announced a technology partnership earlier this week aimed at enabling manufacturers to access the benefits of online customer reviews.
According to both companies, as a result of the partnership, manufacturers as well as retailers will be able to easily implement user-generated review content, both on existing Web sites and in CI's SellPath StoreFront, which creates and distributes brand showcases for use at retail partners' Web sites or a manufacturer's own site.
The customer review technology made available through the partnership requires no visible modification to an existing site. The technology also is suited for retail sites that wish to present product reviews to shoppers.
