New Arrival: QVC Expands Online Community to Full Social Networking Site
Worldwide retailer QVC, has expanded its online community into a full social network platform powered by LiveWorld Inc., a social marketing agency. The new social network is integrated throughout QVC.com.
LiveWorld specializes in private label social networks and online communities. Applications include profiles, forums, blogs, photos, user video, customer support forums, groups and interactive webcasts.
LiveWorld has provided QVC's message forum community platform for four years. During that time, the volume of services has increased, engaging millions of QVC shoppers. QVC's expanded social network is based on LiveWorld's latest Community Center platform, which includes LiveWorld's applications and data warehouse reporting. QVC also is using LiveWorld's API and Portlets technology to directly integrate community content throughout the main QVC site.
