Marketers often think that collecting and storing large amount of data will provide answers to their questions. The ubiquitous of nature of data in this new age, where even a refrigerator can order food for its owner, forces marketers to look beyond the existing data sources and learn how to harness the power of all types of behavioral data.
You'll learn how to turn the information into insights, as bits and pieces of data won't provide answers on their own. Unfortunately, data collection is just a good first step, and collected data must be refined through various data manipulation techniques and advanced analytics, including statistical modeling. Databases must be designed and/or realigned for specific user goals, as analytical efforts should be about analysis, not about dealing with incomplete or unstructured data.
In this session, marketers will learn about:
- The landscape of current data industry and marketers' perspectives
- The "buyer-centric" database design philosophy to stay relevant in every communication channel
- The importance of advanced analytics in the age of Big Data and creating "analytics-ready" data environments for maximum efficiency
