We often think of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as some far-off technology of the future. But AI is here now, and you're probably already using it in your home and business. In this episode of Tech Talk Face Off, Thorin McGee, Editor-in-Chief of Target Marketing, talks with Dealerscope's Rob Stott about how thinking machines are already here in many consumer and business applications.
On the consumer side, those include everything from virtual assistants like Siri, Alexa and Google's new Duplex AI, to chatbots and embedded AI like the ThinQ programming that's already installed in most of LG's appliances. These consumer electronics AIs and more are already "in the wild," with people using them right now.
And AI MarTech has come just as far. Not only can marketers deploy chatbots to talk with customers, you can also engage with virtual assistant like IBM's Watson, Adobe's Sensei, Salesforce's Einstein and more. Meanwhile, AI is already guiding your programmatic advertising, and its ready to do the same for email automation and customer behavioral analysis.
This is either the most exciting or most terrifying time to be working with thinking machines. Click the video above to see what Thorin and Rob think about all of it.
