Delta Group teamed up with Valtim Marketing Solutions to test the effectiveness of variable inkjet printing in personalized direct mail. Both the envelope and interior message of a mailing sent by the U.S. Border Security Council — a nonprofit group that works to raise awareness of immigration and domestic terrorism issues — was personalized. A test was completed, and it was shown that more recipients were opening the newly designed personalized envelope.
