What Were They Thinking?

Who doesn't love being rewarded for being creative? In this episode of "What Were They Thinking?" Melissa shares Coca-Cola's "Make Your Mix" campaign, which married personalization and UGC to create a contest that allowed Coca-Cola Freestyle machine fans to get creative and invent their own signature beverage.

According to Coca-Cola Freestyle marketing director Sarah Greenberg Sachs, “One of the incredible benefits of Coca-Cola Freestyle [machine]  is that it allows consumers to personalize and customize their beverage. We provide the access to the nearly 200 drink options, but the consumer holds the power to create the drink that is perfect for them.”
