Capitalizing on AMC’s hit series “The Walking Dead,” Make-A-Wish America partnered with website Omaze to offer fans of the show an opportunity to win a trip to New York Comic Com, attend a Season 6 premiere event on Oct. 9 and have lunch with one its stars — Norman Reedus who plays Daryl Dixon — for a $10 donation.
This email was received on Sept. 17 and the campaign ran through Sept. 29. Funds raised benefited Make-A-Wish America, a nonprofit organization that helps grant wishes for kids with life-threatening medical conditions. It featured a video message from Reedus as well as several ways to get involved with the organization by volunteering or donating.
