Winter is coming. Anytime you start seeing lots of ads for cold weather gear, you know it’s almost time. A few days ago, an email from Nau, an online clothing retailer, dropped with the subject line “NEW: The Copenhagen Down Trench, Featuring Recycled Down.” That one word, “recycled,” was all I needed to tap on to open the email. Nau is known for its commitment to using sustainably sourced materials in the manufacturing of its apparel, so I just had to see what this was all about.
The email is indeed focused on one of the big new coats for the fall season, but woven into the sales pitch is a lot of content about how Nau reuses older materials in its new products. Please check out the slideshow below to see how Nau gets the job done.
