La Colombe Brews Interest With Bold Subject Line
I definitely perked up when I saw this email pop into my inbox. As a huge coffee nerd, I'm always on the lookout for something new and fresh to brew up at the beginning of every morning. Philadelphia-based coffee roaster La Colombe knows that its clientele are picky about their morning joe—and rightfully so. A good day always starts with a good cup of coffee—and sometimes, the path to the sale of the beans for that cup starts with a simple, yet effective, email.
After purchasing one of their rarest coffee releases online a few months ago, I was automatically subscribed to their mailings, receiving updates about my order as well as the general list emails. Once my order was fulfilled, I didn't think too much about it, until last week when I got an email that elicited a lean-in response.
