Web Awards to Honor World's Best Websites

The Web Marketing Association is pleased to announce the call for entries for its 14th annual international WebAward competition. The WebAwards are the standards-defining competition that sets industry benchmarks based on the seven criteria of a successful Web site. It recognizes the individual and team achievements of Web professionals who create and maintain outstanding Web sites. The deadline for entry in the 2010 WebAwards is May 25, 2010. Product/Service: Complementary services to test the performance and speed of websites, and see where they rank amongst competitors

What It Does: Online businesses can visit AlertSite’s website test page to see their availability and response time, HTTP status, IP address, and component response time of their sites. Testers receive a report that lists the total page response time in the upper-right corner, as well as individual object response times to demonstrate exactly which web components (if any) are causing a slowdown.
