The people make the marketing.
That may sound corny, but it’s true. And all of our marketing technology is only making it more true.
There is not a piece of technological innovation that doesn’t require a skilled hand and visionary strategy to work well.
The more automated we get, the broader the reach we can achieve. And all of it just makes the people making decisions behind those tools more important than ever.
That’s why for the first time this year, we’re not just honoring one Marketer of the Year (although Windsor Hanger Western certainly deserves it). We also are honoring more than a dozen visionaries and up-and-comers throughout the magazine.
Without people like these, marketing wouldn’t be where it is today, and neither would their companies. That’s a fact deserving of recognition — not just in the marketing department, but across the business and the industry.
