When Renting Telemarketing Lists, Ask for Proof
If you're in the market for telemarketing lists, don't just accept "your list broker's word about customer happiness and satisfaction," says Caree J. Eason, vice president of sales at Elite Business Services Inc. "Always ask for proof. Ask for a testimonial letter from at least one satisfied customer," she says. It's likely, she continues, that "list providers will not feel comfortable providing you with the name and number of a satisfied customer. [But] your representative should not have a problem sending you a copy of their best testimonial letter."
