It also partners with various brands to promote their foods while making healthier living more accessible. “Beat the Back to School Blues with Super Savings” reads the subject line here. It’s intended to engage people and get them out the door to shop for groceries.
Consumers who receive Mambo’s emails are all opt-ins who know the companies Mambo trusts. Two rows of four products each run across the width of the email. The savings amount for each product appears above its image. Each picture clicks through to a page on the website to print a coupon.
One big block promotes a selfie contest on the Facebook page for RiceSelect. While two links allow the shopper to immediately enter the sweepstakes, the other goes to the main page first. Finally, at bottom, two articles click through to Mambo’s website. One offers tips to parents of gluten-free children for their return to school. Another offers a recipe tailor-made for this audience: organic pizza bagels.
It’s a win-win when companies can build trust with consumers while they can eat better and save money at the same time.
