The Passing of Jerry C. Foote, List Industry Veteran
Longtime direct marketing and list industry veteran, Jerry C. Foote died on Oct. 18, after suffering from heart disease. He was 63. The former Direct Marketing Association member was President of Names and Addresses, Inc. in Buffalo Grove, Ill. He is best known for his list brokerage expertise, network and friendships.
A devoted marketing consultant, Foote's commitment to building business, client growth and accomplishment was unmatched. His strengths and abilities were recognized by his customers and proven with the success of his customers. Foote's infinite knowledge of publication and catalog marketing was instrumental for many start up endeavors.
Foote began his career at Figi's located in Marshfield, Wis. From there, Jerry's love for outdoors brought him to The Audubon Workshop in Northbrook, Ill. Not long after, he joined Names and Addresses as a principal owner in 1977.
Foote is survived by his children, Pamela Myers and Kevin Foote, his wife Blair and two grandchildren, Amelia and Nathan; his brother James Foote and his wife, Carolyn and nephews Brad, Jason and Ryan.
