Tempt VIPs With Stunning Graphics and Augmented Reality
In this episode of Who’s Mailing What! Confidential, Printing Impressions — one of Target Marketing’s sister brands — looks at how Agfa Graphics created a stunning oversized calendar to be distributed to its subsidiaries, who then sent the calendar and accompanying cookbook to VIP customers during the winter holidays. The calendar, called "A Year of Tempting Plates," contained recipes submitted by Agfa Graphics employees, that were then prepared by a professional chef and photographed.
Aside from the mouth-watering images, the calendar also showed off a variety of substrates, inks and screening used by Agfa. The final cherry on top, however, is that each page can be interacted with via the Agfa augmented reality app. Using the app, recipients of the calendar could scan a calendar page and watch a video about how the dish is prepared.
