Denny's Zinger: Now Available — A Copy and Design Gem!
To usher in this New Year with a bang, I wrote a column about the wonderful brochure from the 1981 Direct Marketing Days New York Conference and Exposition at the New York Hilton. It was sent in by David Cowen.
With a splendid Art Deco 8-1/2" x 11" cover panel, it unfolds and unfolds and unfolds to mammoth 22" x 34" bed-sheet. Open it on your desk and it obscures everything in sight!
This massive piece was designed and written like poster for a P.T. Barnum extravaganza. The only things missing: The Elephant Man, the Bearded Lady and Conjoined Twins.
In the lingo of Broadway press agents, the event was SRO.
My Sincerest Regret
I desperately wanted to share this promotional wizardry with readers of my cranky column. Alas, neither I nor the publisher had equipment to scan a piece this huge. I was only able to show bits and pieces.
To the Rescue: John Harris III of www.graphitebridge.com!
I was thrilled to receive an email the other day from John Harris III, with a single PDF containing both sides of this magnificent monster.
Be my guest: Download it!
Okay, so the PDF is tiny. But you can zoom in on it for easy readability.
I urge you to take advantage of this offer. It is delicious!
BTW of course it's FREE!
Takeaway to Consider

Denny Hatch's new book is WRITE EVERYTHING RIGHT!
*****Five Stars This book is not written in a traditional business or self-help type of book. It's more like tips and notes, but it works out great. If you ever write something to sell or attempt to convince someone to your point of view, this is a must have book. The analysis of situations and the tips and pointers are excellent. I don't know if this book will make me a better writer immediately. However, the advice and pointers that he gives not only make lots of sense, but it got my mind to analyze everything I write for better results. —Buster Boy, Amazon.com
