Martha Staab, 2016 Marketer of Tomorrow
Every Fall, Target Marketing honors one “Marketer of the Year.” But what about other marketers doing great work in their spaces? Martha Staab is one of the six ascending stars selected as a "Marketer of Tomorrow."
This “Marketer of Tomorrow” already has a side gig running her own marketing firm, focused on marketing and PR in the entertainment industry. But during the day, Martha Staab is a digital marketer for Classic Home Improvements — a general contracting company in San Diego.
“An average day for me here at Classic Home Improvements,” explains Staab, “includes going over all the analytics to see what’s working and what needs my attention, looking over social media and scheduling content on various platforms, content writing, working on our monthly newsletter, and preparing projects for awards.”
Yvonne Cerda, a drafting and layout design specialist at Classic Home Improvements, nominated Staab as a growing star in the industry because of “her ambition to achieve hard-to-attain goals within her company, while showing persistence in her personal work in the entertainment industry.” Cerda explains that Staab has grown Classic Home Improvements’ Twitter following from 200 to 1,700 within six months.
“Marketing is changing every day, so do one to two webinars a week to keep sharp and up-to-date on the newest trends,” says Staab.
