New Arrival: MailChimp Releases Enhanced Spam Filter Check and E-mail Analysis Tool
MailChimp has launched an enhanced version of its Inbox Inspector tool that allows e-mail marketers to view how their e-mail campaigns look in 16 different e-mail clients such as Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo! Mail, Lotus Notes, AOL and EarthLink.
MailChimp says the tool basically gives e- mail marketers the ability to check e-mail for content normally stopped by spam filters. It detects which spam filters are most likely to block e-mail campaigns, and detects broken links, HTML errors and typos in e-mail campaign content. It also generates reports that detail exact issues of their e-mail campaign that can result in spam filter blocking.
For the tool, MailChimp relies on technology developed by Return Path Inc., giving small businesses access to the same testing tools used by large retailers in their e-mail marketing campaigns.
Inbox Inspector displays how e-mails look with or without images. When activated, the tool is available inside MailChimp's user interface. MailChimp says the tool's one-click preview and spam filter check makes it easy for marketers to zoom and scroll in the end user e-mail client preview pane.
