Clean Energy Experts (CEE), a provider of education and resources to consumers interested in cost-effective energy saving solutions, launched a website in 2009 called MyEnergySolution.com. The site partners CEE with clean energy product and service providers to offer free information and services to consumers so they can better understand the myriad choices they have when it comes to green energy solutions and tools.
“People can visit the site to learn about everything from compact fluorescent lightbulbs to solar panels and residential wind energy,” said Eren Atesmen, co-founder and president of CEE, in a press relase from online trust seal provider VeriSign. "The site is geared toward anyone who pays an electric, gas or oil bill, so we’re hoping to not only help people save money on energy costs, but also create a more sustainable and comfortable home environment.”
Since MyEnergySolution.com also offers home energy audits, solar consultations and other free services to visitors who register, Atesmen knew that the site had to convey a strong sense of trust.
“Our partners expect us to generate qualified customer prospects, so our revenue depends on the number and quality of registered users we have,” he said. “Helping visitors feel comfortable enough to sign up at our site is absolutely essential to our business."
