Greenwich Hospital Keeps Visible With Email
Hospitals don’t need to overwhelm potential patients with content in order to be effective, as this simple email shows.
Mailer Name: Greenwich Hospital
Date Emailed: September 1, 2015
A member of Yale New Haven Health System, the hospital is based in Greenwich, Connecticut. It serves people in lower Fairfield County as well as lower Westchester County in New York. Each month, it sends out an email newsletter to inform the community of events at its campus.
This edition of Health e-Outlook leads with the subject line: “Self-help health ideas for fall.” At the top, there’s an image of a father swinging his child around at a beach. The opening paragraph provides an entry point for the hospital’s programs. “September brings us back to school, back to work, and back to a healthy routine,” it says.
The right side of the email focuses attention on a few key events of the month. Besides the day, each listing also mentions the time of the session. And, a longer paragraph gives the consumer more information before clicking through to the site.
Growing a brand requires a long-term strategy that includes important stakeholders in a community.
