Erik Harris, 2016 Marketer of Tomorrow
Every Fall, Target Marketing honors one “Marketer of the Year.” But what about other marketers doing great work in their spaces? Erik Harris is one of the six ascending stars selected as a "Marketer of Tomorrow."
Erik Harris is the online store manager for TROY Group, Inc., a security solutions company for printed documents. Harris has been with TROY Group since 2010.
Earlier this year, “We knew it was important to change our look and make our site as user-friendly as possible,” explains Harris. “The results have been positive and our rankings within search are climbing at a strong pace. Executing a large, challenging project like a Web update in a timely, efficient manner has been one of the more rewarding aspects of this job.”
“His constant brainstorming to add improvements to the site makes him one of most up-and-coming stars at TROY,” notes Rachel Palo, who nominated Harris as a “Marketer of Tomorrow.”
Harris says the best part about marketing is that the technology is constantly changing.
“We are only seeing the beginning of digital marketing. With the Internet of Things and mobile becoming more prevalent, everything will be online and tied together,” says Harris. “Being able to market your company and get your message out over all of these forums will be the future.”
