Donald Trump has uncovered a vast new constituency: the 193 million American adults who despise politicians.
According to Gallup, Congress has a 79 percent disapproval rating.
Politicians are seen as having a single overarching agenda: re-election. They suck up to anyone who’ll stuff cash into their campaign coffers — PACs, lobbyists, corporations and industries — and show gratitude with votes.

“Sadly politicians are all talk and no action. They’re not going to get you to the promised land — that I can tell you,” Trump said. He vowed to maintain his independence. “I don’t give a (expletive deleted) about lobbyists,” Trump thundered, using vulgarity to make his point. “I don’t need money — if I run — I don’t need any money,” he said. “I would put a 100 percent — a 150 percent — of my energy into making our country rich again.” —Alex Swoyer, Breitbart
