    Considering my Twitter name and what I do in the design realm, I’m obviously in agreement with the value of a magalog.

    The only thing I would caution about, and something I see a lot, is people jumping on the magalog bandwagon without having a thorough understanding of the target audience, and everything that’s involved in putting a magalog together.

    That’s usually not a problem for experienced marketers. But it can be an issue for small companies that tend to bounce from format to format, hoping the next thing they try will be the magic bullet. Magalogs are not something you do on a whim.
