USG Corporation Selects ARGI’s Insight Sapphire Database Management Solution

January 2007
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
CHICAGO, IL – December 27, 2006 – USG Corporation (NYSE: USG), a leading building products company, has chosen ARGI of Montvale, New Jersey, as its new marketing database solutions provider after a four-month competitive search. ARGI (formerly known as Automated Resources Group International), initiated work on the development of the USG database earlier this year.

USG Corporation is a Fortune 500 manufacturer and distributor of high-performance building systems. “We will be a Building Systems Industry marketing leader in how USG targets prospects, and builds customer relationships,” said Richard Long, Interactive Marketing Manager at USG in describing the goals that ARGI Insight will help achieve.

With ARGI’s Insight Sapphire, USG will be able to manage their customer acquisition channels within one integrated tool and promote to potential customers based on their individual attributes. Prior to the development of USG’s Insight database, USG managed their database from over 100 different sources of data, increasing the cycle time necessary to build and manage customer relationships.

According to Dave Hendricks, Senior Vice President of ARGI, USG Corporation is an ideal ARGI Client. “Through Insight Sapphire’s easy-to-use data visualization, analytic and reporting capabilities, USG will be able to gauge their products’ success and reach out to their prospects to further educate them about USG’s products. Additionally, USG will be able to quickly identify high-value clients and prospects to quickly build high-value relationships. Among other benefits, we expect that Insight Sapphire will be able to help USG revolutionize its sample fulfillment process, and continue building on the best customer experience in the building systems industry.”
