Seasoned Executive Joyce Bell Joins ClickSquared as Chief Financial Officer

WALTHAM, Mass., June 2, 2009 – ClickSquared, Inc., an interactive relationship marketing firm, today announced the appointment of former Compete executive, Joyce Bell, to chief financial officer.

“As ClickSquared continues to grow, we need a CFO that will ensure we’re scaling and planning proactively for maximum success,” said Wayne Townsend, CEO of ClickSquared. “With Joyce’s 25 years of experience in building successful businesses, and expertise in the marketing services industry, she’s the perfect addition to our growing team.”

In this position, Bell will be focused on partnering with ClickSquared CEO Wayne Townsend and other senior management members to accelerate the organization’s expansion and profitability while also playing a key role in strategic planning. Bell will leverage her deep leadership experience to manage her team as well as develop additional methods to maximize profit for the company.

Most recently, Bell was the chief financial officer for Compete, Inc., a venture-backed market research company. In this role, she managed business, financial, legal and human resources functions prior to leading the sale of the company to Taylor Nelson Softres (TNS).

Before that, she was vice president of finance at Be Free, Inc., where she gained invaluable fundraising experience via venture capital financing, IPO and secondary offerings as well as merger and acquisition activity.

Bell has also held positions at Thomson Financial, Cingular Wireless and Ernst & Young where she built skills in the development of financial infrastructure along with cash management, forecasting and strategic planning.

Bell earned both her bachelor of science and her master’s of business administration degrees from Babson College, and is a board member of Finance Executives International (FEI).
