The social media technology company promises that its software-based solution, SocialTALK, can make the channel far more inviting for those still dealing with corporate constraints—including tracking proposed posts that still need legal approval and measuring the impact of those posts in real time.

SocialTALK allows users to create and approve, then automatically publish and monitor their presences on Facebook, Twitter, Moveable Type.org and WordPress.

E-mail and Social Media Marketing
Industry pundits say social media has given e-mail marketing a second lease on life. Now Infogroup Interactive, a data solutions firms with headquarters in Portland, Ore., is returning the favor by aiding marketers in their quest to coordinate e-mail and Twitter campaigns.

The firm's Yesmail Enterprise technology platform now offers users the ability to schedule tweets in advance, view "pre-scheduled and past tweets in parallel with their e-mail marketing campaigns," and coordinate shortened-link and click tracking for both tweets and e-mails.

Marketing Automation
Direct marketers and others using the quoting and proposal solution from Deerfield, Ill.-based on-demand sales software provider BigMachines weighed in on how to improve it, and now there's BigMachines 10.

This generation of the software-as-a-service product most notably lets businesses use the same system for internal quoting and proposal development as they do to sell directly to customers on the company Web site. In addition to generating quotes and proposals, BigMachines 10 enables pricing management, contract generation, and order management and submission.
