National MS Society Sends a Big Message in a Tiny Package
The Bike MS: City to Shore Ride is a celebrated annual event where approximately 7,000 cyclists take to the road in an effort to raise awareness and funds for Multiple Sclerosis. As part of the ride, cyclists are encouraged to pledge to become Responsible Cyclists, promoting safety and courtesy on the road during the ride.
Even when neatly folded, this 3.75” x 5.5” self-mailer packs a hefty punch, starting with the text “RULE THE ROAD ...” and an illustration of the Philadelphia skyline. The Bike MS: City to Shore Ride 2016 event logo sits in the upper left, cluing in recipients — who are cyclists in this annual ride — to the piece’s contents.
Before recipients dive too deeply into the mail piece, they’re instructed to pledge to being a Responsible Cyclist via the website, and are offered additional information about Group Riding Skills courses, which prep riders for the big day.
As recipients continue to unfold the mailing not once, but twice, they’re greeted with more information about the ride itself, as well as a full infographic about being a Responsible Cyclist once the mailer is unfolded to its full length of nearly 17.5 inches!
