Jay Schwedelson Promoted to CEO & President of Worldata

Boca Raton, Fla.-based direct and interactive marketing services firm Worldata has named Jay Schwedelson CEO and president. Prior, he had served as the company's corporate vice president. In his new role, he will assume executive decision-making for the entire Worldata enterprise.

Worldata was launched in 1975 by the Schwedelson family as a Long Island, N.Y., list management and brokerage firm. The company relocated to Florida in the '90s, and began to expand into interactive and database marketing services. The company currently offers services that include e-mail and postal list management; list brokerage; e-mail transmission and tracking; data hygiene; merge/purge; co-registration, cost-per-lead programs; and more.

At present, Schwedelson also serves as the chair of the Direct Marketing Association's List Leaders Group and serves on the association's Direct Marketing Educational Foundation board.
