Get It Done: 2017 Tactics and Technologies Trends
Content marketing? Lead nurturing? NFC? Retargeting? Loyalty Programs?
Which one of those —and other tactics and technologies — do marketers think are most important to invest in for 2017?
Well, in our 2017 Media Usage Survey, 59 percent of marketers say they’re increasing budgets for one of those technologies. In fact, that’s one of only two entries for which more than half of our respondents intend to increase their budgets.
There are also two hot, buzz-word technologies that 81 percent of our readers are not investing at all. Does that means those technologies are pretenders? Only time will tell, but our readers aren’t sold yet.
And the survey touched on programmatic, and the percent of budgets that our respondents plan to spend there. One percent plans to spend 76 to 100 percent of their budgets on it. But you’ll be surprised how may aren’t buying programmatic at all, and how many are only investing a sliver programmatically.
