E-mail Automation
For financial services companies that want to roll out trigger-based e-mail marketing campaigns but would like surefire promotional success, San Diego-based marketing software company Leadfusion claims its new “EMAIL Track Library” will do the trick.

Leadfusion compiled 44 marketing campaigns for use across multiple business lines that are compatible with “Leadfusion EMAIL.” Marketers simply activate a campaign and the track library takes over, creating dialogs for customer acquisition, onboarding, cross-selling and retention. Campaigns may be used as is or modified to meet the marketer’s needs.

Lists On-Demand
Maybe a marketer only wants 25 records to get started on a prospect list for a small business, and he wants to download them right now. Enter ColeLists.com from Lincoln, Neb.-based list firm Cole Information.

The prospecting tool designed for small- to medium-sized businesses can be used as needed to create downloadable lists ranging from 25 to 25,000 records at a time.

On-screen graphics and basic navigation tools, as well as on-screen tutorials and dialogue boxes, guide marketers through the process of customizing their lists by geography and demographics.

Cole Information updates the lists monthly and allows ColeLists.com users to preview records before purchase.

Multichannel Integration
Customers who are interested enough in a company’s products and services to initiate live online chats with marketers may be interested enough to be contacted again. Thanks to a new plug-in application resulting from a joint venture between Wichita, Kan.-based live communication software company Bravestorm and Durham, N.C.-based e-mail marketing services company iContact, this contact information can be captured via instant messaging.

The iContact Plugin marries Bravestorm’s BoldChat IM product with technology from iContact. The companies built the plug-in to be compatible with Microsoft’s .NET platform and distributed as a self-contained installer. Marketers that already have BoldChat now can have customer relations professionals ask consumers, during live chats, if they want to opt in to receive e-mails, and the iContact Plugin will collect the consumer data.
