Twenty-three percent of total website visits in December 2012 came from mobile devices, according to new statistics published by PR and digital marketing agency Walker Sands. According to the report, mobile device traffic increased 84 percent from December 2011 to December 2012. In addition, mobile traffic increased from 6 percent of all Web traffic in January 2011 to 23 percent in December 2012. Apple devices dominate mobile traffic, as 52 percent of all mobile traffic came from iOS devices last year. Android devices command 43 percent of mobile traffic, which was down from 46 percent in 2011....
